Even if you are not based in NYC, if you have the time, we will consider applications to work remotely.
Fair Trade Resource Network Internship in NYC
The Fair Trade Resource Network (FTRN) is a national nonprofit organization working to promote Fair Trade, a people-powered solution to global economic injustice. FTRN is looking for interns to support its work throughout the academic year and during the summer. Based in the West Village, the NYC office is responsible for coordinating consumer education campaigns in the US - including World Fair Trade Day each May - and creating resources to enhance education and collaboration in the Fair Trade community. See FTRN.org for more about our work.
Interns assist with research and project development; public relations and marketing; grassroots organizing; and administrative tasks. "Digital marketing internships" also offer great opportunities to utilize and develop skills in online marketing and communication from anywhere in the country. A minimum of 10 hours per week is required. FTRN is glad to work with students to define discreet work projects for university credit. This is an unpaid position. Submit resume and cover letter (please indicate your availability) to work@fairtraderesource.org.
Applications considered on a rolling basis.
